Individual therapy

It is often the treatment of choice for a variety of issues: depression, anxiety, trauma, substance misuse/addiction and couple therapy. Often times, when individuals show up for therapy, it is a course of last resort after spending considerable time trying to fix the issue. At Sakinah Wellness Center, we walk together in creating lasting resources that are aligned to the life you desire for yourself.

Couples therapy

For those looking to improve or repair their partnership or are navigating co-parenting structures. Couples therapy can also be added alongside individual therapy for those seeking to strengthen their relational muscle.

Sex Therapy

One of the topics discussed in couple therapy is sexuality. It may be valuable for a couple or an individual to visit a therapist trained in sex therapy support. This exchange offers the benefit of accessing real time solutions with a competency trained therapist in an environment that fosters non judgement and safety.

Hi. I'm Muthoni. I've been where you are.

My own healing was precipitated by a series of life changing events that unfolded often with overwhelming fear, panic and unanswered questions. I questioned everything and everyone including myself.

I am trained in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) , Addiction Support, Sex Therapy & Conflict Resolution Support. My area of focus is individual, relational couple therapy, sex therapy, life coaching support and therapy for women.

Credentials and degrees aside, the questions you may have are several. One is deciding whether or not we can work together.  Some of the things you may want to know from an approach page include: Do I know what I am doing? Why do I work with individuals and couples when it comes to matters of intimacy, sensuality and pleasure?
